MDDT is a well-structured organization with a board of directors consisting of former seasoned retired lawmakers and human rights activists. MDDT’s team is made up of young and vibrant executives with 3 lawyers, 2 Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni, a seasoned accountant, and peace and human rights experts. MDDT runs a legal clinic with 10 lawyers and 5 paralegals. It runs a membership of 250 volunteers. The MDDT Supreme body is the general assembly with meets once per year. MDDT’s project implementation and financial execution are guided by voted standard operating procedures with regular internal and external audits.
