Director of Youth Civic Engagement & Volunteering
Bidias A Zock Manuela is the Director in Charge of Youth Civic Engagement and Volunteering at MDDT Cameroon. She has a solid academic background in Political Science and Conflict intervention, holding a BSc in Political Science and an MA in Conflict Resolution. Manuela leads a team of 10 focal points and 800 volunteers across Cameroon's regions. She is also the founding Executive Director of the Cameroon Students for Peace Network (CAMSUP), where her initiatives focus on countering hate speech and youth radicalization across major state universities.
Her leadership as Miss YALI Peace, Cameroon 2022, underscores her influence and dedication to social causes, while her role as a Youth Ambassador under the PRONEC-REAMORCE Program highlights her commitment to youth-driven civic education. With expertise in conflict resolution, strategic volunteer management, and community development, Manuela is an active member of various national and international networks. Her exceptional communication and organizational skills enable her to build effective partnerships and mentor young leaders. Looking ahead, she aspires to expand her initiatives internationally, collaborating to promote sustainable democratic processes.
